dusting away the cobwebs

i’m back, well, sorta, i hope.

Been both busy and lazy of late, especially with work and band stuff going on. Also have been meeting mr secks more often lately, especially since he will be leaving our sunny shores for the cold lands of boston very soon to pursue his dream of playing music for a career. I really do wish him all the very best! Just about 2 weeks-ish more before he leaves. Man, why is it that almost all of my best guy friends have to leave for long periods at some point in time? haha. Awaiting the day that eka and daryl will be back for good. But for daryl, hmm, seeing how much he likes aussietralia, i wonder if he’ll ever come back. I wouldn’t mind going overseas to live too though, especially if the right opportunity presents itself. =)

Awesome stuff. It has been repeating in my cd player for the whole day, and I still haven’t gotten enough of it. So this is probably gonna stay in my hifi for the next couple of days.

I shall not comment on my job situation as it is still a work in progress. Just slowly moving forward, and trying to learn as much as possible. Maybe when I have finally settled into a permanent role, then I will talk about it more in my blog. But till then, i’d rather not comment on it.

Thanks to everyone who came and made my birthday party a memorable one.

My band has 2 more shows coming up this month.
24th August at Gotham Penthouse, for the Temasek Hall Bash.
It’s also going to be my band’s first time as the headlining act, and we are honoured and truly flattered to be given that honour, as well as to be able to perform alongside Concave Scream that night too. Practising 1-2 times a week now with the band in preparation for that show, so hope it goes well. It should be a blast!
26th August at Home Club, for the TAGS finale night.
That one should be fun. It has been a while since we played at home club.

So on the band front, quite a busy month. But that’s good, since DL will be entering NS pretty soon, and then DIA will have to take a short hiatus until his schedule smoothens out. But i don’t think the hiatus will be too long. Hopefully not.

My handphone has been acting a little cranky lately, so hmmm. Perhaps it is almost about time to change my handphone. =)

I like this new layout. Still retains its minimalistic look, but with a few more colours and stuff to make it look more interesting. I like.
